Jim has had Private Instruction and Master Classes with the following world-renowned drummers and percussionists: Gary Chaffee, Jim Chapin, Billy Cobham, David Garibaldi, Joe Hunt, Peter Magadini, Al Miller, Joe Morello, Micheal Lauren, Akira Pana, Lenny White.

Performance Credits include the following: He recently performed in the Off-Broadway musical Summer ’69. (click here to read some Review exerpts of Summer '69) His regional theatre experience spans 22 years and more than fifty shows. Since 1991 he has been percussionist for Theatre Three Productions in Port Jefferson, NY. Jim’s other performance credits include the Citibank Jazz Festival, as well as concert dates with members of the 60’s super group The Rascals, songwriter Johnny "Sleepwalk" Farina, and the Grammy Award-Winning group A Roomful of Blues. Jim recently performed in Merkin Concert Hall (Lincoln Center) with the acclaimed classical group Serenade featuring the World Primier arrangement of Piazolla’s L’Histoire Du Tango arranged by himself and Mr. Jerry Saulter.

Jim has also published articles on drums and percussion and is a contributing writer for Creative Drummer Magazine.
